The adventure of a lifetime begins now! You’ll land into New Delhi international airport where you’ll be met and taken to your hotel. Keep that pesky jetlag at bay by spending the day resting and relaxing around the hotel.

The Indian capital of Delhi is a sparkling haven of beauty, history and cultural escapism. You can swap the bustling, British-built centre of New Delhi for Old Delhi’s ancient, Islamic vibes at the drop of a hat. With culture and radiance aplenty, you’ll never want to leave this magnificent city.

A hearty breakfast will be followed by a daytime sight-seeing tour through the hustle and bustle of the Indian capital. In Old Delhi feast your eyes on the legendary Red Fort and Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Then, speed off on a rip-roaring rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk and its busy back-streets.

Culture vultures flock to New Delhi like bees to honey and it’s easy to see why. Take a leisurely stroll along the peaceful boulevards and pass by the Empire’s monuments. Head to India’s tallest stone tower, the QutubMinar, and then proceed to the impressive India Gate, a memorial to the 82000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives during the First World War. You’ll see 13300 names inscribed on the monumental gate and then gaze at the Amar JawanJyoti, built following the Bangladesh Liberation war, bounded by four eternal flames beneath the Memorial Archway. Then, continue to the RastrapathiBhawan,  Humayon Tomb and the Lotus Temple before heading back to the hotel.

Following breakfast, head off on the Taj Expressway by road from Delhi to your hotel in the Mughal city of Agra. It houses splendid architecture, as it was once India’s most important city, and Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire created the first Persian garden on the banks of the Yamuna River.

The afternoon will be spent visiting Agra Fort, where Mughal Emperor Shah Jahanspent his last days. Then, stand in awe at the brilliant Taj Mahal, a spectacular piece of romantic architecture, built by Shah Jahan as the resting place for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Such outstanding beauty could only have been borne out of a great love. After, you’ll be transferred back to the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast you’ll check out of your hotel and venture out to the Pink City of Jaipur via the Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary, founded by Maharaja Suraj Mal in the year 1733. The trio of Bharatpur, Deeg and Dholpur have had a significant role to play in the Jat history of Rajasthan. The sanctuary, once known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, is now dubbed Keoladeo National Park, a name which comes from an ancient Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva in the central zone of the sanctuary. Situated at the point where the Ghambhir and Banganga Rivers meet, this marvellous park has one of the world’s greatest and most important heronries. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park plays host to some 364 species of birds, including the rare Siberian Crane and you’ll be able to explore this luscious land for a couple of hours before being transferred to Ranthambore.

Today get up bright and early  for a Jeep Safari to the Tiger Reserve. Due to an ongoing project of restoration, both the park’s beauty and dry deciduous forest have been restored. Later on, you’ll venture out to Ranthambore Fort, founded by the Chauhan Raiputs after the defeat of the Chauhan KingPrithviraj III by Muhammad of Ghori. The area around the fortress was converted into a hunting ground for the Maharajas of Jaipur.

After breakfast you’ll drive to the Pink City of Jaipur after checking out of your hotel. The wonderful city of Jaipur, poised on the edge of the desert, was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawaija Singh II and is home to Mughal palaces and town bazaars, brimming with trinkets, jewellery and textiles. An evening of entertainment and lively atmosphere awaits you, as you witness the world-famous Sound and Light Show, highlighting Jaipur and Amber Fort’s colorful history. Later, you’ll return to the hotel.

Take a drive past the Hawa Mahal-a,Palace of winds, after breakfast and then head to the City Palace and Museum in the afternoon before proceeding to Jantar Mantar, an early Indian architectural wonder. Later, you’ll head back to the hotel.

Today you’ll check out of the hotel after breakfast and make your way to Pushkar, the sacred city of Hindus. How does a camel safari at sunset sound? It’s honestly the best way to witness the Rajasthanidesert with its formidable dunes, golden haze and remote village life.

Pushkarreally is one of a kind. As a prominent Hindu pilgrimage town, it sees many Hindus visit at least one in their lifetime. There, you can find a holy lake, said to have appeared when Brahma dropped a lotus flower, as well as one of the world’s few Brahma temples. On the main street, you can find a plethora of different trinkets, hippie clothing and even didgeridoos, as the whole street is basically one big bazaar. Amongst the commercial districts, this small, quaint town has a certain charm and mystery which is hard to deny.

After checking in at your next hotel, you’ll take a stroll around the Brahma Temple, painted red and blue and named after the God who created the universe. Here in Pushkar you’ll explore the 52 bathing ghats and 400 temples. Prayers (puja) ring through the air, providing you with the perfect soundtrack to your tour. Then, you’ll return to the hotel.

Bid adieu to Pushkar today and get ready to visit Udaipur, the Blue City, located on the shores of the placid blue lakes, named the Pichola Saga. Around Udaipur you’ll find serene, barren hills, crystal palaces and lush gardens.

After checking into the hotel upon arrival, you can gaze at the blood-orange sunset from the washing ghats and take a leisurely evening stroll. After the sunlight has reflected on the ripples of Lake Pichola, creating a picturesque scene, you’ll feast your eyes on some delicious Indian cuisine at one of the fine downtown restaurants for an optional dinner. Then, you’ll return to the hotel.

A city tour is on the cards for today. After breakfast you’ll head off into the heart of Udaipur, home to mesmerising scenery and enchanting buildings, such as the City Palace and bronze statue of Maharana Pratap. You’ll also pay a visit to the Jagdish Temple, built in 1651 AD, and Saheliyon-ki-Bari, a tranquil ornamental garden. Next, get ready for a picturesque boat ride across Lake Pichola, offering views of the City Palace. For two hours, you’ll drift across the water’s ripples, past the washing and bathing ghats, and lap up the rich, vibrant scenery that surrounds you.

Time to go! Following breakfast, you’ll be transferred to AMD airport to board your flight back home or to your next destination. If you have the time, make sure you have one last look around the city’s bustling streets and pick up a couple of souvenirs from the myriad of markets to remind you of your enchanting holiday. We hope you’ve had fun!
