Full of magical architecture and spellbinding cities bursting at the seams with World Heritage Sites and natural wonders, Argentina is a destination in a league of its own. It offers so much more to visitors than just your average sun-dappled holiday destination.

This twelve-night tour is packed to the gills with riveting excursions to glaciers and waterfalls, as well as soul-stirring city tours and winery visits. With such variety, every type of traveller is catered for – whether you’re a beach sloth, culture vulture or adrenaline junkie at heart.

You’ll visit four main destinations – starting off with country’s capital, Buenos Aires. Wander its cosmopolitan streets and feast your eyes upon an array of historic and cultural landmarks, including the iconic Plaza de Mayo, lined with 19th century buildings such as the Casa Rosada. Saunter down the tree-fringed Avenida de Mayo and into the neighbourhood of San Telmo, teeming with tanguerias and quirky restaurants and bars.

In the evening, tap your feet along to a tango dancing show at the illustrious La Ventana restaurant. With a feast fit for a king included, this evening is one of the highlights of your tour - offering a truly authentic Argentinian experience.

After boogieing in Buenos Aires, you’ll venture to El Calafate for an excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier, a spectacular, ever-changing sheet of ice nestled in Los Glaciares National Park. Marvel at this impressive glacier from all angles along various walkways.

Head off to Puerto Iguazú, a city in the northeast and home to the mighty Iguazu Falls – the largest waterfall complex in the world. Picture a sprawling, gushing network of different cascading waterfalls, including the enormous Devil's Throat which sits in thick, emerald-hued rainforest.

A feast for the senses, the Falls straddle both Brazil and Argentina, and you’ll be able to witness both sides from various viewpoints during two organised tours.

End your journey with a relaxing few days in Mendoza, smack-bang in the middle of Argentinian wine country. Slurp on Malbecs during a visit to bodegas (wineries) and drink in the beautiful surroundings of Luján de Cuyo or Maipú.
