Celebrate the arrival of autumn even further with the Wo-Zha-Wa Days! Enjoy a wealth of family-friendly activities, including an arts and crafts fair, antique flea market, Maxwell Street Days, live entertainment, and a 75-unit parade. Visitors are invited to participate in a street carnival with refreshment concessions and the Wo-Zha-Wa Run. All activities take place throughout downtown Wisconsin Dells and Bowman Park. Cascade Mountain offers real skiing variety. Some of the 36 trails are challenging, while other trails are over a mile long and fun for any skill level. Getting to the top of the mountain is quick and easy with 10 lifts, including the high-speed Mountain Top Express. Cascade also impresses with 4 terrain parks ranging from beginner to expert. Check out the Snow Tube Park with five 800' long chutes! Located just 15 minutes from the Dells.
Christmas Mountain allows skiers to take advantage of 16 downhill runs and a wide variety of trails. Take to slopes suitable for beginners, as well as black diamond slopes perfect for those seeking the ultimate winter thrill. Enjoy an energetic afternoon of cross-country skiing for wonderful mountain vistas, or for more slippery fun, try tubing. Onsite tube rentals are available.
Devil's Lake State Park is located in Baraboo along the Ice Age Trail. The Park is visited by more than 1.2 million people per year, and with spectacular views from 500 foot cliffs, miles of hiking trails, swimming areas including 2 large sandy beaches, mountain bike trails, cross country ski trails, great climbs and more, it's so easy to see why.
Saddle up with the family and engage in the trail ride to tombstone. Watch the western town coming to life as you ride down main street. Then venture through the 200-foot tunnel and view scenic waterfalls and an array of wildlife. Cross over the pond to beautiful Lost Canyon and let their experienced guides and gentle horses take you on the 1-hour trail. Be sure to visit the free petting zoo afterwards.
