The weather in Kauai is surprisingly stable, with pleasant temperatures year-round. The winter months (November-March) see heavier rain, but winter is also the time when humpback whales migrate to Hawaii and can often be seen not far from shore. All things considered (weather, crowds, prices, etc.), the best times to visit are during the shoulder seasons of April-August and September-October. But the truth is there is no wrong time to visit the beautiful 'Garden Isle' of Kauai.
